Lauren understands healing and wellness as a highly dynamic, introspective, interpersonal, and creative lifetime practice. She strives to integrate her personal experiences and formal education to serve as a healing presence and guide to her clients and those around her.

Broadly speaking, Lauren looks to assist others in increasing their consciousness and connecting with their hearts to contribute to lasting emotional and behavioral changes. In an effort to assist others in a journey back home to themselves, she draws from a bio-psycho-social-spiritual model of client conceptualization, striving to holistically understand human flourishing, suffering, and personal identity through the intersection of diverse variables. More specifically, she utilizes ancient philosophies, transpersonal psychology, and evidence based research from Existential Phenomenology, Attachment Theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Somatic Experiencing, and Internal Family Systems (Parts Work) as well as other modalities like trauma-informed yoga and breath work.

It’s perfectly okay, and makes sense if these aforementioned words don’t mean much or anything to you.. because really, it is Lauren’s presence in the “room” and her drive for connection to her clients that is everything to her while utilizing other interventions. She strives to provide person-centered & integrative care as unique as each person she serves, and is highly motivated to facilitate measurable growth through interventions proven to improve well being.

Lauren’s experience as a client of therapy and supportive individuals in her own life, has greatly led to her desire and capacity to work with others as a counselor. She is compelled to act as a guiding light, into places her clients may have yet to navigate in the presence of another, that they may get to know, embrace, and love themselves in all of their complexity, and move into more empowered lives and relationships outside the counseling connection. With a clinically informed and intuitive approach to counseling, her joy as a professional counselor lies in assisting others in accessing their own, in the midst of even the hardest times.

Lauren currently lives in Whitefish, Montana where she feels fortunate to have spent her childhood years. She is a dabbler in many creative pursuits—discovering her voice and playing guitar is among her favorites. She is grateful to have moved back home, to raise her two daughters, serve her community, and enjoy all the wild places.
